Donna Flagg’s life has been spent studying movement.  Much of that training was received in classical dance techniques born from the masters in the field.   The bulk of her ballet education was in Cecchetti’s style, but throughout her childhood she was also taught the syllabus of The Royal Academy of Ballet.  For modern, Donna has been schooled in the techniques of Martha Graham, José Limón and Lester Horton; and in jazz her concentration was primarily in Matt Mattox, although she also spent time studying under Phil Black and Luigi.  Calling upon this varied experience, Donna has created a stretching technique that reconstructs the flexibility that all dancers have and from which they all work.

Lastics® is a technique that releases tension, increases flexibility and stimulates circulation by teaching people how to move their bodies in ways that stretch and elongate muscles from both ends simultaneously.  It is a fundamental of all dance techniques.

Donna comes out of Philadelphia University of the Arts and is currently a faculty member at The Joffrey Ballet School.

“I have found over and over again that by connecting the mind with body stress is released from both.”
