This is the foundation of Lastics Stretch Technique based on Donna's open classes in NYC. It was designed to give people of all ages, body types, and fitness levels a way to improve their flexibility based on techniques dancers use to stay lean and limber. It focuses on learning how to articulate your body so you can stretch the muscles from end-to-end.

In Level 1, you will not find that the stretches are broken out by "body part." Instead, each section moves you through the stretch, targeting multiple muscles in different ways, going deeper each time.
The workout will give you a stretch like no other, and also change the way you think about, and understand, your body.
I am thrilled with this workout; I stretch now at least twice a week and have noticed increased flexibility. I also stopped having tension headaches that I used to suffer from [since I work on a computer all day]. I have only been able to do it twice in the last week (busy schedule) but it is a stretch like no other I have done. Both times I felt extremely relaxed afterwards. During the stretch I could feel it stretching muscles that I didn't even know were tight! It was amazing. A funny thing is that I was doing everything that the instructor said not to do. Each time she would say don't stretch like this I would look down and I was doing exactly that so it has been great for modifications!

I am not a big review writer. This workout is awesome! Exactly what I needed. Someone who truly has knowledge of where and how the body can be STRETCHED. I recently started brisk walking 3 mi /day. My leg muscles were so tight, and I needed this for that reason alone. However, this is very educational and will be my go to workout for many ailments. This is one of the best purchases I have stumbled upon!

I've been doing this programme for the last 10 days and I can't praise it enough. The more you do it, the more therepeutic it feels. It's challenging, even though the movements are straightforward. I'm reasonably flexible, but this programme teaches you how to take it one step further each time you practice. I'm feeling more flexible with better posture and energy levels after each session.
