COURSE OVERVIEW
DESCRIPTION
Lastics Online Flexibility Training Course is NASM approved and designed for personal trainers who are interested in becoming versed in non-assisted and assisted stretching techniques.
The course is six lessons in a self-study format to make it convenient to do anytime and anywhere at your own pace. It is based on the premise that developing muscle, whether stretching or strengthening, should adhere to the same strategies in order to be effective and produce results. Our analysis shines a light on the deficiencies in current flexibility training and explains why net results in flexibility gains rarely match gains seen in strength training.
This training aligns strength with flexibility in its methodology and approach. It teaches you how to spot where obscured tightness is restricting movement and flexibility, and further, develop an eye to visually understand the mobility/flexibility story a body is trying to tell.
Approved by the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), successful completion earns 0.8 continuing education credits toward your personal training certification.
